Why Are We Not Getting What We Pay For Webcast | April 23, 2019 | Ithaca NY

Tuesday | April 23, 2019

Brian Dunn, Lecturer
CAHRS ONLINE WEBCAST 12:00-12:30PM (EST)

Most of the pay plans in place in American corporations were first designed and implemented over 50 years ago when the world was very different.  Academic studies as anecdotal evidence point to the fact that traditional pay structures and incentives plans are at best ineffective and at worst counter-productive. Former compensation consultant and current lecturer of compensation Brian Dunn will examine both the academic studies and real life experiences showing that the underlying assumptions of our compensation programs are no longer valid in todays world of work where jobs have been transformed and the values and needs of the work force have evolved. We will explore possible alternatives to current pay structures and incentive plan design.  Brad Bell, Professor and Director of CAHRS will moderate the discussion.

As with all of our webcasts, Brian and Brad will take time to address questions and comments submitted by participants.
