Digital recruiting: How and Where do you find External Talent Online Virtual Working Group

All companies rely on the internet to find external talent. While finding candidates is easier than ever, finding the right candidates – those who are likely to be interested in your company and qualified for the jobs you need to fill – remains a perpetual challenge. In this working group, Assistant Professor JR Keller will lead a discussion about the tools and technologies companies currently use to identify external talent, how companies decide which ones to use, and how to evaluate their effectiveness. Given than many of these tools are developed by outside vendors, we will also discuss how to sort through the myriad solutions offered by third-parties, as well as how companies think about issues of integration and cost. Attendees will be asked to share information about how their company currently sources talent online, including what has (and has not) worked for them, what technologies they might be considering, as well any additional questions they may be wrestling with as digital recruiting strategies continue to evolve. This session is likely to be of particular interest to individuals involved in talent acquisition.
